FEED

Knowing that hunger and malnutrition are a huge problem in our world is one thing, but doing something great and HELPFUL about it is quite another. Lauren Bush, a model as well as the niece of George W., began FEED Projects in 2006 after traveling to several UN World Food Program operations around the globe. Inspired by the people she met and the WFP organization, she decided to take action. And so, she created the FEED bags, which are made with sustainable materials and are an amazing alternative to disposable bags.

The FEED Projects' goal "is to market and sell as many FEED bags as possible and to FEED and educate the world's 400 million hungry children."

Bags can be found and purchased through Bergdorf Goodman, Amazon, Whole Foods, Rugsby or through the FEED shop. The FEED 100 bag, featured below, provides 100 meals to hungry children in Rwanda and is available at your local Whole Foods.
So refreshing to see a wonderful idea implemented in such a fabulous way!
