Handmade and Homegrown

For those of you in town this weekend, I highly suggest stopping by ComFest, which began today at noon and runs through Sunday night. A free festival, combining loads of great music, tasty food and drink, small shops filled with hippie goodies and even bare boobs (that's right, there will definitely be some topless women so don't be alarmed), it's one of this city's biggest summer events.

Dating back to 1972, ComFest was a collaborative project put on by several college students to celebrate justice, peace, harmony and diversity - which are still the fundamental ideals of the event to this day. The festival originated on OSU's campus, but has since moved to it's current location of Goodale Park.

The musical lineup can be found here. To learn more about ComFest and its policies go here.

(I'll be spending some time in Hocking Hills this weekend or else I'd say I'll see you there! Happy weekend!)
